Spectro Polishing System is the newest technology in granite polishing process, developed to cope up with the ever-growing need to manufacture high quality and consistently polished stones at a cost effective rate and optimized production quantities.

These abrasives are resin bonded with diamond being used as the grinding media and contain synthetic compound (polyester resin) and silicon carbide concentrated with eight different compounded hardness for extra durable surface finishes. Resin bonded abrasive diamond is substitute of Magnesium Oxide product, as it has longer life cycle and no need to keep respiration for MgO.

Once stone product surfaces, such as granite and marble, are polished with resin bonded abrasive stones, a natural coarse and uneven finish is evened out, providing an attractive, safe, hard wearing, low maintenance glossy surface. There is absolutely no change in quality, colour and hardness even after years of use.

Most of our products at Italstone are pre-processed with Spectro Polishing System, providing extra smooth and glossy surface. Traditional sealers are not required to keep its shininess or to prevent it from various household spills and stains.
